The goal of this course is to help new clients understand three things: 1) health is a spectrum, from 0 to 100. Each person is at their own level, and has their own unique goal. 2) Better Choices. One by one, we can make better choices in our lives to create a cascade of health. There is no “one size fits all” approach. and 3) Being Healthy is not Expensive. While it may take more time to figure out the cheaper ways to live a healthy lifestyle, it is possible.

This class is an insight to these three goals, but these three goals are the foundations for all of our courses. We hope you enjoy them.

Cold Remedies & Prevention

The Cold and the Flu are both viral infections. This means that at some point we were exposed to a virus that has made it into our bodies. Different viruses cause colds and the flu, and even different versions of the flu. They rotate from year to year, and morph as we can create pharmaceutical remedies. The symptoms of the cold and the flu are often overlapping. In this course, we will list a group of symptoms, and then we will sort them into bodily responses for fighting the viruses. We will finish the class with some natural remedies to help the body fight the virus and aid in the biological functions we already have in place.

Diet Trends (typically) are yo-yo diet programs that cause rapid weight loss and weight gain. Very often (more often than not) they are full of ways to “cheat” the program, with convenient prepackaged foods advertised as “diet friendly” but yet still harmful to the body. Very rarely do they leave lasting lessons of weight management and health. With that being said, it is absolutely possible to need a nutritional structure such as Paleo or Gluten Free, and this course will help explain those needs, the history of this style of eating, and how to properly learn from and implement it into your life.
