Welcome to Prospectively Healthy.
My name is Jessica Moffitt and I am a Master Certified Health Education Specialist, Personal Trainer, and Nutrition Coach. I have a Bachelor of Science in Community Health, with an emphasis in physical activity and exercise, as well as an additional certification that allows me to serve as a resource to the community for information about health topics such as nutrition, cooking, and healthy lifestyles.
I offer services in a variety of settings, including In-Person, Virtual, and Group Classes.
In-Person:
In person services are offered at 209 W 12th Street, Hays, Kansas. These services include fitness assessments, nutrition education, and any additional private and group sessions requested by clients. Nutrition Coaching sessions are $60 per hour, or $45 per half hour. Most clients do well with 4-6 sessions.
Virtual:
By far our most popular service- Virtual services are hosted in group or private sessions. The goal of these sessions is to help individuals address their current health and wellness lifestyle, by creating Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely goals. Each week includes education about a different element of health and wellness, slowly building on each other, with lifestyle modification and behavior education to help equip clients with the tools they need to succeed, and to maintain their results. All virtual sessions are $60 per hour, or $45 per half hour.
**Please note Master Certified Health Education Specialists & Personal Trainers do not diagnose, treat, or cure any disease, and do not offer medical care.**
Fitness:
I teach the concepts of Primal Movement, a concept created primarily by Paul Check of the C.H.E.K. Institute. A “Healthy” Body has the ability to move in all 7 primal movements free of pain or discomfort. These movements include: bend, hinge, twist, lunge, push, pull, squat, and locomotion (or walking). I offer group fitness classes that include these fundamentals, such as:
– MindFULL Fit: the 7 primal movements, in stretch form. Helping relieve tightness and increase flexibility and stability
-TransFORM Fit: the 7 primal movements, in strength form. Helping create strong bodies via muscle recruitment and proper firing and engagement patterns.
-MomFIT: the 7 primal movements as they relate to our core, pelvic floor, and glutes post partum.
– Run Fit: beyond the 7 primal movements, the ability to move in both linear and non-linear patterns quickly, spontaneously, or as a response to danger is crucial. The compromise this yields on our muscles can be overcome with proper training and through muscle memory.
Sessions may be booked in private, one on one sessions within the studio, small groups of your own choosing (got a hype girl? wanna work out together, but not with everyone else? I’m your gal! Let’s do it!), and in group sessions available through our group fitness classes. Custom virtual packages and training are also available.
