Here is the thing- HEALTH IS A SPECTRUM. It’s not a drastic change overnight. It’s also not an all-or-nothing habit that you must stick to 100% of the time. Think of it this way- Health is a spectrum from 0 to 100.

0 is a rock- It doesn’t eat, sleep, exercise, or move. It has no social engagement. Each day, this rock makes exactly ZERO better choices to be healthy.

100 is a unicorn. It eats EXACTLY the right nutrients, the right amounts, and at the right time. It gets perfect sleep, perfect amounts of exercise, and doesn’t get exposed to any toxins. A unicorn is 100% healthy. This unicorn doesn’t exist.

Now, you must decide where you stand. If there is a 100%, and a 0%, then you can be anywhere between. And this number is picked by your current idea of health.

Each time you make a better choice, you move in the direction of becoming a unicorn.

And with each BETTER CHOICE, you become a STRONGER YOU.

Prospectively Healthy has broken down into four main pillars:

Healthy Bodies, Healthy Families, Healthy Kitchens, and Healthy Minds.

Each pillar is essential to living a long and healthy life. Abandoning one can lead to damage to another.

For this, we work with individuals to help them create a healthy lifestyle above just physical fitness- one that includes fitness, mental and emotional well-being, and one that includes relationships with these pillars within our families.

Healthy Bodies

“Healthy Body, Healthy Life.”

Exercise is one of the best things you can do for yourself-certainly not the only thing-but it is fundamental. Exercise can improve your energy, memory, and self-esteem. In the context of total well-being, physical health refers to one aspect of mental and physical well-being. It describes how well your physical body functions as a total unit.

Healthy bodies isn’t just about hitting the weights, or building biceps and 6 pack abs.

It’s much more than that. It encompasses strength, endurance, and flexibility. It utilizes each muscle so that when we perform daily activities such as loading groceries into the car and shoveling snow from our driveways- it doesn’t create chaos and bring mayhem to our bodies.

Start where you are today, and each day work to build your healthier version of you.

Healthy Families

Happy family… happy life!!!

Keeping your family healthy is much more than putting nutrient-dense food on the table. It’s creating strong relationships with the family, healthy associations with eating, and creating a life-long impact on your children’s health. This pillar of health covers exactly that- healthy food choices, but also healthy views on foods, portions, servings, eating habits, and more.

As a mother of two- I understand the balance between eating healthy and affording to eat healthy. This pillar includes this- budget friendly tips for maximizing nutrients, minimizing toxins, and truly building a strong family from the inside out!

Healthy Kitchens

Nutrition-Nutrition-Nutrition

You are what you eat-theoretically. What we consume has a direct impact on ourselves-both physically and mentally. Proper nutrition is important for our overall wellness, for fluctuations in our wellness, and for our capacity to get well after short periods of inactivity or illness.

Many know this- but few understand where to start. This is where the Healthy Kitchens Pillar comes to play. We start from the basics of nutrition, covering micro and macro nutrients, calories, portions, servings, and food groups. We also discuss the more complex pieces, such as reading nutrition labels, eating out, traveling with families and still eating healthy, and nutrition for weight management.

From mincing Garlic the very first time, to creating monthly meal plans on a strict budget-we are ready to make eating healthy simple. And the best part? We don’t teach nutrition based on a diet trend- all food can be good food!

Healthy Minds

I became a wife in 2016, a business owner in 2017, and a mother in 2019 (and again in 2021!). I get it- life is not always easy. There is stress and taxing experiences. Time crunches and restraints. Family and Work balance. And the last thing we seem to have time for- is ourselves. Let alone learning where to start. Healthy minds is bite sizes pieces of education about ways to reduce the impact stress has on our bodies. It’s about loving ourselves where we are at. Creating (and meeting) realistic goals. And truly creating a healthy mind.

The brutal honest truth? I’ve dealt with it. Burn Out. Emotional Fatigue. Depression. Anxiety. Workplace stress (and violence). Postpartum Anxiety & Depression. And I won’t sugar coat it, or pretend it doesn’t exist. I am not hear to create a drastic shift in our culture and eradicate this false image we have for new mom, new wife, and business owner. But I am here to help you understand that you are not alone, and there are ways to survive these seasons of life. I definitely do not have all the answers- but I do know what did (and what didn’t) work for me- and I want to share that with as many people as possible.

We encourage the Four Pillars in our group classes and individual courses-to promote your and your family’s health and wellbeing. Our classes can be found under the Schedule portion of this website or use the contact us form for an individualized session of any the pillars.
