Naturopathic Medicine Week

Celebrate the Healing Power of Nature! October 7-13, 2013, will be Naturopathic Medicine Week, the first national awareness week in AANP’s history – and a terrific opportunity to promote the benefits of naturopathic medicine to the public, prospective patients, legislators, and opinion leaders.
Here are some ideas for activities and events that you or your association may want to organize…plus a variety of resources to help make them happen.
Figure out what you have the time and ability to do – then share and AANP will spread the word. Have questions or suggestions? Contact Mike Jawer, Director of Government and Public Affairs. To submit an event for circulation please email Mandisa Jones or click the button below.

Res. 221, the Resolution to establish Naturopathic Medicine Week. It passed the Senate unanimously on September 10. Congress has now officially recognized the important role naturopathic medicine plays in providing safe, effective and affordable health care as well as in addressing the nation’s increasingly severe shortage of primary care physicians.
